This weekend at Castle Rushen visitors will have the opportunity to meet a costumed Castle Guard. The role will be undertaken by Stuart Quayle who has recently joined the Manx National Heritage seasonal team and has helped us for a number of years at events and educational workshops.
Stuart will be welcoming visitors in the Courtyard and will also introduce some of the building conservation work being undertaken on the West Tower and will encourage visitors to interact with staff who will be setting the Castle up for the season.
The Castle will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Laxey Wheel and Peel Castle will also be open for the enjoyment of visitors.
