Week 11 of the Ramsey mens darts league was played on Tuesday 12th February and what a night of darts we had, with two huge shocks a stone's throw away from each other.
The first was at Bar Logo where they entertained an on form Mitre Raven who have taken the top two in the league recently but they were to fall short against a thrown together Logo outfit. Thanks to Gavin Dunnigan and Mark Curphey for stepping in at the last minute and winning three games between them in what was only the Logo's fourth win this year winning 6-3.
Across the road at the Plough the battle for home honours went to the A team by a huge scoreline of 9-0. Everybody would have put their house on a 5-4 game score either way. The stand out man in this one was Andy Hudgeon with no less than 5 x 100, 2 x 140 and two good finishes of 89 and 95 to also take the Paul Wheeler Plumbing and Heating sponsored highest finish prize. This defeat for the B team means the title is, all bar a disaster, the Stanley's as they can only lose it now if they lose all their remaining games.
Talking of the Stanley their match against the struggling Mitre was a 9-0 victory with the only thing to put a smile on the Joughins' faces was when Selina stepped in to make the numbers up and took a leg off Jay Smith.

Some dates for your diaries are Tuesday 12th March the RAOB open pairs starting at 8pm entry is ?2 per pair, Friday 15th March is the house individual and presentation night at the Mitre hotel also starting at 8pm and on Saturday 23rd March the Shaun Buckley memorial shield again at the Mitre hotel thanks to Selina and Carl's continued support of the darts which is a 301 double off competition.
