2e2 sale officially confirmed, 27 jobs saved

by isleofman.com 14th February 2013

It's been officially confirmed 2e2 Isle of Man Ltd has been successfully sold to a local businessman as a going concern, preserving 27 Island jobs in the process.

From Monday the IT firm will be known as Argon Technologies Ltd, having been bought by Ian Fairbairn, owner of the Armstrong Group of companies.

Last week, the Island arm of 2e2 had followed its UK parent company into administration, but the sale ensured it was able to come out of administration earlier this week.

The firm's managing director, Jonathan Camfield, says they're delighted to return to being a locally-owned and managed business.
