Castletown leapfrogged DHSOB from fifth to fourth following the southerners’ 2-0 win in the Warehouse Fitness sponsored league.

Goalkeeper Jane Caley and Kira Buchan were on target for the hosts in the first half.

Corinthians maintained their push for a fourth consecutive league title following a 15-0 victory over Laxey.

Leading 7-0 at half-time, Stephanie Hall (three), Alsivarne McGregor (three), Lisa Costain (three), Shannon Groves (two), Kiera Morgan (two), and Jenna McStay found the net for the current champions. There was also an own goal.

Peel consolidated their third position with a 7-0 victory over Colby. Nicola Naden (five), Ellan Cleator and Katie Meads scored for the westerners.

The Gymnasium v Rushen Utd match was cancelled due to the southerners’ withdrawal from women’s football.
