Time is running out if you want tickets for a Bollywood extravaganza featuring fabulous Indian cuisine and entertainment. The Children’s Centre is organising the evening in conjunction with Bollywood on the Isle at Union Mills Football Club on Friday March 1 at 7.30pm. All funds will go to support The Children’s Centre’s services for children and families across the Island. Tandoor, Market Hill, Douglas, will be providing the food, and the evening’s entertainment will be run by Alpana Delaney of Bollywood on the Isle. Alpana has organised many successful charity events with an Indian theme, and they are always popular. Susie Cox, Community Fundraiser at The Children’s Centre, said:

“We’re really looking forward to this fantastic event. Everything will have an Indian theme from the music, costumes, traditional entertainment, henna tattoos and delicious cuisine, right down to the beer. A big thank you to Union Mills FC, Bollywood on the Isle, and the Tandoor Indian restaurant for their support with the event. It’s sure to be very popular, so contact us soon to book your tickets, and help raise much needed funds for The Children’s Centre.”

The Bollywood Nights event is at the Union Mills FC clubhouse at the team’s Garey Mooar ground, Ballaoates Road, Braddan. Tickets, priced ?25, are available by contacting Susie Cox at The Children’s Centre on 676076 or by emailing susiecox@thechildrenscentre.org.im.
