Worry over university fees

by isleofman.com 18th February 2013

More universities could charge Island students higher international fees.

Finance Director for the Department of Education and Children Ashley Halsall says one such institution is Imperial College – a Manx medical student would face a total bill of ?200,000 by the end of their course.

Mr Halsall says the department would only pay a certain amount – with the student paying the difference.

Speaking on Manx Radio yesterday he admitted people are worried other universities may charge international fees for Island students.
