Fire Crews tackle fire in Anagh Coar

At 14:05 on Tuesday 19th February 2013 numerous calls were received at the Emergency Joint Control Room reporting smoke issuing from a property in Anagh Coar estate Douglas, upon arrival of the first appliance crews were confronted with a fully developed fire in an upstairs mid-terrace property.
 
Fire crews attacked the fire from both the front and the rear of the premises, using four BA sets, and two high pressure hose reels to extinguish the fire, it took about 15 minutes to bring the blaze under control. Crews remained in attendance for a couple of hours to ensure the property was safe and assist with Fire investigation to determine the cause of the fire which is unknown at this time.
