Today, Wednesday, 20th February 2013 sees the issuing of the Isle of Man Constabulary 150th Anniversary stamps by the Isle of Man Post Office.

Inspector Derek Flint, Force Media Spokesman had the following to say;

“We are delighted with the Post Office recognising this significant year in our history with this fantastic issue of stamps. The six stamps show images from our past, contrasted with up to date colour photos of our modern day activities. For such a small force, we are rich in history and tradition, and to record our anniversary in a way that will find its way on letters and packages across the world is another great way of spreading the word about our wonderful home.”

Stamps are available online, and at local post offices.
