Milan-San Remo not a priority for Cav

by isleofman.com 20th February 2013

Mark Cavendish says the classic one-day race Milan-San Remo is not a priority for him this season.

The Manx Missile stormed to victory at the event is 2009.

Cav told Cycling Weekly that he'll ride it every year but he is not prepared to have a team built around him calling himself an outsider in the race.

He believes there are other riders in the Omega Pharma-Quick-Step team who you can bank on more at the Milan-San Remo.

Cavendish will next be in action on Sunday as defending Champion at the Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne race looking to add to his six victories already achieved in 2013.
