The politician who chaired the Tynwald inquiry into the MEA loans scandal says he’s heartened by the intentions of the Chief Minister.
Tynwald last night (Wednesday) voted to accept a report and recommendations into the Authority’s unauthorised borrowing of ?120 million.
It highlighted a catalogue of errors and a lack of cost control but no evidence of corruption.
Steve Rodan is encouraged the committee’s work will be the subject of further scrutiny.
