There were some huge wins in week 12 of the Ramsey mens darts league culminating in the Stanley hotel boys securing the league title with two weeks to spare after a fine 9-0 win against a battling RAOB team.
A fine show of how darts should be played was by the returning Richie Howland who hit no less than 5x100 109 121 and 140 in his two games, another notable was the 17 and 20 dart legs by the old boy Charlie Cover. Congratulations to them as they have totally deserved their title.
In the other two games of the night the Plough A carried on from last week's hammering of the B team with another fine display. The Mitre Raven on the end of it this week losing out 8-1 with notables here being Geoff Howland with 4x100 105 finish 135 140 , and the old boys showing age doesn't matter as Malla Callow stepping up to hit 91 finish 2x100 180 ( his third of the year ) and Andy Hudgeon who is bang on form for this weekend's Manx Masters with 3x100 125 140. The Mitre couldn't field a team this week so the Plough B walk away with a 9-0 w/o but they would prefer to play games than win this way. Hopefully they can get it sorted so they can play the last two weeks.
