A bendy bus broke down on the main Castletown road this morning

It stopped just the Douglas side of the Fairy Bridge.

It's understood some passengers left the bus and made their own way onwards after it had been stopped for around twenty minutes.

The bendy buses are currently on trial on the Island to assess if they are suitable for use here.

An engineer was sent out to try and deal with the currently unspecified fault
