Gerrard retains National Title

The most hard-fought win of my life!

That’s how Manx athlete Keith Gerrard described Saturday's impressive win in Sunderland.

Gerrard successfully defended his National Cross-Country title as he outsprinted Great Britain international Steve Vernon to retain the men's prize.

He was thrilled after becoming one of an elite group of athletes to have won the race back-to-back.
