Healing weekend with meditation and mindfulness expert

by isleofman.com 25th February 2013

On Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th March, Kent-based healer and homeopath Anne Simpson will be on the island to facilitate two complementary full day workshops in Port St Mary.

Each workshop will focus on finding balance and harmony using meditation and mindfulness techniques. The cost is ?60 for either workshop or ?95 for both, including lunch and refreshments. Everyone is welcome, including beginner meditators.

On Saturday, the workshop theme is ‘The universe as mirror’, examining how people and situations we find difficult are really opportunities to heal aspects of ourselves we may not be addressing. Sunday’s workshop, ‘Healing the unconscious self’ will focus on overcoming patterns of behaviour that may cause us discomfort and distress.

‘Meditation and mindfulness techniques can be powerful tools to heal feelings and behaviour patterns that hold us back,’ said Anne. ‘When we understand both our challenges and our strengths, we can begin to integrate all aspects of ourselves and create a more balanced, harmonious life.’

Based in Kent, Anne is an experienced facilitator of meditation courses, a Registered Healer and has practised as a Registered Homeopath for 15 years. Through her practice she aims to encourage self-healing.

The workshops will run from 9.45am to 4pm on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th March at The Spinney, Howe Road, Port St Mary. To book, please contact Janet Bridle on 835436 or jbridle@manx.net.
