Microgaming Launches First 3D Mobile App for Windows and X-Box

by isleofman.com 28th February 2013

Microgaming (www.microgaming.co.uk) has introduced Bronzebeard Blackjack The Strategy Coach, a play-for-fun multi-level card game which teaches players how to play Blackjack.  For the first time, Microgaming has designed a free download 3D mobile app specifically for Microsoft Windows 8.0 and Xbox. It has had its first showing at this week’s GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Captain Bronzebeard, a master of the Blackjack game, takes players on an intergalactic and educational adventure. With over 60 unique 3D animations, four levels of gameplay and a wealth of special treasure wins, there’s plenty of fun to be had for Blackjack beginners and pros alike.

Bronzebeard Blackjack The Strategy Coach is available as a free downloadable mobile application from the Microsoft Windows Phone Store, and once downloaded, does not require internet connectivity.  The animated game currently supports the new Windows Phone 8, as well as older Windows Phone 7 operating systems. It will also be available soon on Microsoft Windows 8.0 and the Microsoft Xbox console via Xbox Live.

Neill Whyte, Head of Product Channels, Microgaming, says: “This is a very exciting development for Microgaming and shows our intent to develop games for all operating systems and platforms. The game is easily accessible through the Microsoft Windows Phone Store, and so far, the application is receiving very positive reviews online, which is fantastic to see.”

Download the application from the Microsoft Windows Phone Store or view the game at the Microgaming stand at GSMA Mobile World Congress 2013, Fira Gran Via Barcelona, 25-28th February in the App Planet – Hall 8.1, Stand J-30.
