Permanent Bank International Moving to New Premises

by isleofman.com 1st March 2013

Permanent Bank International is to move to new premises at Hillary House on Prospect Hill, Douglas, in March. The relocation will signify the culmination of year long process which began with the launch of its new brand identity in February last year. Carlton Freegard, Managing Director of Permanent Bank International Ltd, commented:

“We’re looking forward to officially moving into our new premises in early March and to welcoming existing and new customers. We selected new premises right in the heart of Douglas to make it easy and convenient for our customers to call in. The move also represents the final step in a year long process to create firm foundations for the future of the business, a key part of this process being the creation of a new visual identity that includes the strapline ‘The Personal Face of Banking’. This is much more than just a slogan, it reflects our business culture based upon a client-focused approach which involves getting to know our customers, building a relationship over several years, and offering a standard of customer service that few other banks can match. Our new location at Hillary House gives our team the ideal environment in which to continue to put these principles into practice. It’s a bold statement of our long-term intentions and will be our home for many years to come.”

February 2013 marked the first anniversary of the launch of Permanent Bank International’s new brand which reflects the bank’s ownership by Permanent TSB. Permanent Bank International traces its Isle of Man roots back to 1994 when the business was first established here. The bank now employs 13 staff in the Isle of Man, many of whom have been with the business for more than a decade. Permanent TSB is a leading provider of personal financial services in the Irish market with strong positions in retail banking. The company’s roots date back to 1884 with the establishment of the Irish Temperance Permanent Benefit Building Society culminating in the launch of Permanent TSB in 2002. The group, Permanent TSB plc, is 99.2% owned by the Irish Government, therefore depositors with Permanent Bank International also enjoy the comfort that this brings. Permanent Bank International’s new premises are on the corner of the junction between Prospect Hill and Finch Road, the new address in full is Hillary House, Prospect Hill, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 1EQ. The bank’s main contact number 01624 673373 remains the same, although direct dial numbers will be changed due to the move to new premises. Email addresses remain unchanged.
