by isleofman.com 4th March 2013

Ramsey police have launched an investigation after alleged assaults during and immediately after Saturday’s Premier League game between Laxey and St John’s.

Two players sustained facial injuries at Glen Road and assault allegations have since been made.

Trouble flared during and after the encounter, in which the referee booked 10 players and sent another two off, and the police were called to deal with the incident.

They’re urging anyone who watched the game or who can provide information to contact them on 812234 or through the anonymous Crimestoppers Line - 0800 555 111.
