Lincoln based developers Taylor Lindsey have agreed a sponsorship deal for 2013 with Bardney based road racer, Ivan Lintin.
The deal will see Lintin compete on a 600cc ZX-6R Kawasaki under the Taylor Lindsey Racing banner with the main focus being the Isle of Man TT races in June where he’ll hope to better his strong results of previous seasons. In addition, Ivan will also contest the North West 200, Ulster GP, Southern 100 and the three major meetings at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough.
Lintin enjoyed his best season to date in 2012, with his performances at the Isle of Man TT, in particular, catching the eye. The 28-year old recorded superb 10th and 14th place finishes in the two Supersport races, lapping at just under 121mph, and ended race week with a stunning seventh place in the re-introduced Lightweight race.
In addition, he recorded strong results throughout the season at Oliver’s Mount, taking four wins from four starts at the Barry Sheene Festival meeting in July, and also at the Southern 100 where he recorded a host of top ten results on his meeting debut.
A delighted Lintin commented, “I’m over the moon to have Taylor Lindsey on board as title sponsor of the team and everything’s in place for me to improve upon what I achieved in 2012. The TT will be my main event and with the upgrade to the 600, I’m confident of increasing my lap speeds – the main aim will be to get inside the top ten in all my races and come away from the Island with another haul of silver replicas.”
