Pulrose win tie 'for Gareth'

There was an emotional victory for Pulrose in the semi-final of the GH Corlett Woods Cup yesterday.

Manager Kevin Cowin is the father of the late Gareth Cowin, the Manx Special Olympian who died while out in South Korea competing at the Winter Games in January.

Speaking live on Saturday Sport Classified on Manx Radio, Kevin said the Groves Road side had vowed to win the match for Gareth, who was an avid football fan:
