Local midwives Step into Spring

On Thursday 25th April, local midwives and Hospice IOM nurses will be hanging up their uniform and taking to the catwalk to model Spring / Summer 2013 key pieces.

The ‘Step into Spring’ fashion show organised by midwife Liz Vipond will raise funds for two local charities Crossroads Care and Hospice IOM and showcase clothing from the charities shops.

Crossroads Care popular fashion show ‘Fashion Face Off’ in which Hospice IOM participate surprises audiences annually with quality, on trend clothing that is donated to the islands charity shops. 

Alex Wilson of Crossroads Care said: “Charity shops are a great place to start looking for your Spring / Summer wardrobe and Step into Spring fashion show will show you what you need to be looking for to be on trend this season.  Real men and women will be modelling the clothes, which should add a great sense of fun to the night.”

Tina Lawton of Hospice IOM added: “looking forward to a great night with lots of fun, thank you to everyone for supporting and helping with the event.”

International singer Hazel Fisher will be opening the show and compeering the evening’s entertainment and the more crafty midwives will have stalls selling handmade bags, accessories and home ware.

The Step into Spring show will take place at Douglas Golf Club on Thursday 25th April, doors 7:00 pm and with a limited number of tickets guests are urged to get them before they are gone.
