Mental health staff to give evidence

An inquest today (Wednesday) will hear from members of the mental health service who visited a man on the morning of his death.

Christopher Burrows was found hanged at his home on June 16 2011 two days after being discharged from Grianagh Court day facility.

Mr Burrows suffered from chronic fatigue syndrome, which caused him to become depressed.

Mary-Ellen Koniarski and Carol Higgins from the Crisis Response Home Treatment Team will be giving evidence about their visit to Mr Burrows.

The inquest resumes at 10am at Douglas Courthouse.
