Important Safety Notices issued for some Beko White Goods

The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading and Manx Electricity Authority wish to make the public aware of three important safety notices issued by the appliance producer BEKO.
 
The safety notices can be found on BEKO’s website at: http://www.beko.co.uk/Pg/ProductSafetyNotices
 
The products affected are:
 
•         BEKO 6kg and 7kg condenser tumble dryers manufactured between May 2012 and October 2012;
•         BEKO frost-free freezers manufactured between January 2000 and October 2006; and
•         BEKO, LEISURE & FLAVEL gas cookers manufactured prior to January 2009.

What you need to do:
 
Anyone who believes they have an affected model should follow the steps outlined in the safety notices as a precautionary measure.
 
If you do not have access to the internet and are concerned that you may have an affected model, please contact the OFT on 686500 for further advice.
