David Knight secured two fifth-placed finishes at the opening round of the Enduro World Championship in Chile at the weekend.

Knighter is competing in the E2 class this year, with a small team of his own, having previously ridden for factory outfits.

In the Junior class Daniel McCanney finished second and fifth, while in the Youth Cup his younger brother Jamie picked up two runners-up spots.

The riders now head straight to Argentina for the second round of the championship, which takes place this coming weekend.
