Another property auction success for Chrystals

by isleofman.com 19th March 2013

Chrystals estage agents’ Ramsey office held another successful public auction with the sale of a property in Sulby. Claddagh View, a three bedroom semi-detached cottage in Main Road, was sold for ?90,000 to an Island resident. Auctioneer Les Quirk, Office Manager and Auctioneer at Chrystals’ Ramsey office, commented:

“We organised open house viewings on the three Saturdays prior to the auction on February 28 and these were all well attended. The condition of the property made it unlikely that a mortgage could be obtained so it was more attractive to cash buyers. The bidding on the day started at ?50,000 and quickly rose to ?90,000 at which it was sold.”

Claddagh View is described by the agents as a property in need of complete modernization/renovation with a porch, hall, lounge/dining room, kitchen with three bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. It has a small garden at the front and a good sized garden at the back.
