Three-legged record attempt

by isleofman.com 19th March 2013

Manx-based organisers are hoping to smash a world record later this year – that rightfully belongs on the Isle of Man!

They’re hoping to bring together the largest-ever three-legged race on Queen’s Promenade on Monday, May 6.

The record is currently held by a Japanese secondary school which saw 502 pairs gather in November 2011.

Event Management Solutions of Ballasalla has applied to the Manx licensing court for a music and dancing license for the event – the court will make a decision on April 11.
