Island schools to close at 1pm

All Island schools are closing early.

Buses have started taking children home from various schools after the Department of Education and Children confirmed all facilities are closing for the day.

Teachers will remain with children until they are collected but lessons will stop at 1pm.

More snow is forecast including between five and 10 centimetres overnight.

All bus services, apart from school routes, have been suspended.
