The MEA says its network has been significantly damaged.

It aims to get the majority of customers back on supply over the weekend.

If you have concerns about vulnerable people you know call the MEA on 687687.

Meanwhile DoI staff will be out overnight, attempting to keep the main routes around the Island open.

Many smaller roads have been shut, and are set to be reviewed 9am Saturday.
