The major Manx National Heritage attractions House of Manannan, Peel Castle, Laxey Wheel and Castle Rushen which were due to be open today, are all closed.

MNH says that's due to the residual effects of the bad weather

There's a disappointing start too to the Easter holidays for the Wildlife Park in the north of the Island, which was due to open for the summer season this weekend .

The attraction is closed, with any available staff involved in looking after the animals and maintaining the park.
