With less than a week to go before the Easter weekend, Isle of Man Post Office would like to advise its customers of changes to operation and opening times over this period.
On Good Friday (March 29), mail will be received from the UK early morning as normal with mail deliveries taking place to all residential addresses and a Saturday service operating for business customers. The Customer Services Centre at Postal Headquarters will be open from 0700 to 1230, providing all post office services from foreign exchange, vehicle licensing, banking facilities, MoneyGram to packaging materials being available. Meanwhile Ramsey Sorting Office (0600-1230) and the Southern Postal Delivery Office (0730-1230) will also be open.
However, all post offices across the Island will be closed and there will be no collections or a despatch of mail to the UK that evening. Pensions and allowances due for payment on Friday 29th March can be collected from Friday 22nd March.
On Easter Saturday (March 30) there will be no mail deliveries or collections although all post offices will be open as normal. Please note however, that the Customer Services Centre at Postal Headquarters will be closed.
On Easter Monday (April 1), no deliveries or collections will be made and all post offices will be closed. Pensions and allowances due for payment on Monday 1st April can be collected from Monday 25th March. Mail deliveries and post office opening hours will return to normal on Tuesday 2nd April.
