It’s good news for TT fans, as they can take advantage of an enhanced timetable of flights for this world famous motor-racing festival. Tickets for the Citywing flights between Leeds Bradford International Airport and the Isle of Man, and to and from London Oxford Airport, are now on sale. Over the course of the two-week event taking place between the 25 May and 8 June, there will be ten extra flights with prices starting at ?49.95 including taxes and charges.
Managing Director David Buck, said: ‘The TT is a hugely popular event, and significantly important to the Isle of Man; not only is the event itself an exciting spectacle but it also showcases the Island’s natural beauty and scenery. Our TT specials last year were a hit and we’re pleased to be able to help more fans get to the 2013 festival. As always, we would recommend that customers book these flights, as well as their accommodation, as early as possible so as to avoid disappointment.’
Geoff Corkish MBE MHK, Political Member for Isle of Man Tourism, said: ‘With the Isle of Man TT popularity growing year on year, we thank our partners in the tourism and hospitality industries for their ongoing support and enthusiasm. By offering these enhanced flight timetables, Citywing are proving to be proactive partners and are a great example of how local companies can work with Government to great effect.
‘This year’s TT promises the best competitive racing and great all round entertainment and fun. We look forward to welcoming fans from England and around the world.’
