Isle of Man resident and best-selling author Lyn Andrews will be at the Henry Bloom Noble Library on Wednesday April 17th when she will give a talk and speak about her two new novels, Sunlight on the Mersey and her debut historical novel The Queen’s Promise.
Liverpool-born Mrs Andrews, the daughter of a hairdresser and stepdaughter of a policeman, says her background was far from literary and that it was only after her children became of school age when she began writing, having previously only written letters to friends and relations.
Since then she has written 32 successful sagas set in her native city of Liverpool, southern Ireland, where she lived for 11 years, and the Isle of Man.
Tickets for Lyn Andrews’ talk are priced ?3, include refreshments and are available in advance from the library’s ground floor counter.
