By-election date for Douglas West confirmed

Voters in the capital will go to the polls for a by-election at the end of May, it’s been revealed.

Thursday, May 23 will see polling stations open, as the constituency elects a new member of the House of Keys to replace Geoff Corkish, who was elevated to the Legislative Council last week.

Anybody wishing to stand as MHK for Douglas West must declare by Tuesday, April 23.
