Douglas West by-election to take place on May 23

Voters in the Douglas West constituency will go to the polls on Thursday, May 23, to elect a new Member of the House of Keys.
 
The seat was made vacant following the elevation of Geoff Corkish MBE to the Legislative Council last week.
 
Nomination day – the date for candidates to declare their intention to stand in the by-election – is Tuesday, April 23, between 10am and 1pm.
 
Potential candidates can obtain nomination forms from the Returning Officer for Douglas West, Mr Christopher Brooks, who can be contacted at M&P Legal, 23-25 Bucks Road, Douglas, IM99 2EN, email cmb@mplegal.im.
