Cricket clubs merge in west

by isleofman.com 29th March 2013

Peel and St John’s have combined to form a powerful new club in the west of the Island.

It will be known as “Peel & St John’s” with Mullen-e-Cloie as its home ground.

The two clubs have grown closer together over the last few years with Peel leaving their Queen Elizabeth Two School pitch to share the facilities at Station Road.

Players have moved freely between the sides for different competitions and the new set-up should be a big boost for cricket in the area.
