Farmers 'look after their own'

As farmers count the cost of last weekend's extreme weather, IOM Young Farmers has donated ?15,000 to the Island’s Agricultural Benevolent Trust.

The trust has been in existence for 18 years and responds to genuine cases of hardship in the agricultural sector.


You can make a donation to the IOM Agricultural Benevolent Trust care of Charles Fargher, Ballafreer House, Union Mills, IM4 4AB.

Federation of the Young Farmers chairman Glen Hargreaves says charity begins at home.
