by isleofman.com 1st April 2013

St. Mary's produced a great performance to upset the odds and win the Paddy Power F.A. Cup on Easter Monday.

They beat St. George's 2-1 at The Bowl and ended their hopes of back-to-back grand slams.

Brian Crellin opened the scoring after 3 minutes with a spectacular long-range shot.

Steven Priestnal made the match safe with a second half penalty.

There was a scare when James McStay scored in injury time but St. Mary's were not to be denied their first piece of major silverware for 10 years.

Manager Sam Kenny says Brian Crellin's opener settled the nerves of his players and gave them confidence
