Thousands raised in a million steps

An Island man has climbed a million steps in eleven months in aid of charity.

Roger Davies set himself the Million Step Challenge in May and has raised ?28,000 for Manx Cancer Help.

On Easter Sunday he completed the feat at the gas work steps in Douglas, which he has been running up for the best part of a year.

The endurance test is the equivalent of climbing up and down Mount Everest 24 times, yet Mr Davies says he's got another challenge coming up:
