Island's best artisan producers on display at Milntown for Spring Fair

In conjunction with Taylor Made Events, The Milntown Estate in Lezayre, near Ramsey, is hosting a Spring Fair on Sunday 14th April that will showcase some of the Isle of Man's leading artisan food producers, creative artists, photographers and craftsmen.

The Fair will offer visitors a chance to buy handmade gifts, artworks, or simply sample speciality foods and delicious fresh Manx produce.

Visitors to the Fair will be able to enjoy 'farm to fork' food - the best that some of the Isle of Man Farmers Market producers have to offer - including raw and vegan chocolate, cakes and other healthy snacks from Wild Orange as well as hot off the presses Apple Juices and Gooseberry Presse from the Apple Orphanage.

The Fair will feature the best planters from Purely Plants while hand-made Manx gifts, including jewellery from Beadin’ Marvelous, handcrafted cards and gifts from Alexandra Morrison Designs and Lily Rose Handcrafted Treasures will also be available. Bath and beauty products will be offered by Lovely Greens, and Ceramics from Celine J Appleyard of 'Celine Ceramics'.

There is also a Creative Artists arena which will include work from painter Kate Jerry.

The wonderful Gardens will be open throughout the Fair. Entry to the Fair is free but normal garden admission prices apply for entry to the Gardens. Tickets are ?3.00 adults ?1 child, ?2.50 OAP's Family Ticket ?7.
 
The free entry Spring Fair will run from 11.00am to 3.30pm.

The Milntown Restaurant is open from 10am–5pm daily (excluding Tuesdays) with some delicious new seasonal dishes. Bistro Night is every Friday from 5pm-9pm. To book a table for lunch, afternoon tea or the Bistro Night please call 818091.
