Department says it will keep traffic flowing

by isleofman.com 3rd April 2013

As roadworks affect two of the capital's major roads at the same time, motorists are being told "not to worry".

The Department of Infrastructure says it's doing all it can to keep traffic flowing.

The two routes affected are Ballanard Road heading west from St Ninian's traffic lights and the Peel Road in Douglas.

Both are currently being dug up, with Ballanard Road closed for part of its length.

The Department says its making sure commuter routes are monitored and that alternatives are available.

If you have any concerns or queries about the works you are asked to contact 85 00 00
