Beer festival bigger and better

The Second Real Ale of Man Beer Festival got underway this afternoon with 100 beers and ciders on offer.

There were queues forming outside the Masonic Hall in Douglas before the event officially started at 2pm.

On offer are a large selection of local and UK brews as well as two specially made for the occasion.

Alan Cooper from the Campaign for Real Ale, the organisers of the festival, says this year's is bigger and better:
