The Spring Clean at Albany planned two weeks ago was obviously postponed due to the dreadful weather and will hopefully go ahead this Saturday, 6 April from 11am – 3pm.
Any members with an hour or two to spare should let Facilities Manager, Bryan Sharp, know so that he can plan a programme. Please e-mail him at ballabreck@manx.net or phone 861497. Old clothing is advisable as jobs include clearing the bottom of the car park area and the drainage grating. Also weed spraying on the patio. If it rains there will be work indoors – washing all the advertising banners, clearing downstairs store and upstairs cupboard. There will be tasks for all ages!
Sandwiches, tea, coffee and soft drink will be provided for the 1pm lunch break. Please find time to help – it’s your club not the committee’s.
We have our first tournament of the season – the Nedgroup Junior Open starting on Saturday 13 April so it would be nice to see the club’s facilities “spick and span”
