Drivers face raft of fee rises

by isleofman.com 5th April 2013

Driving a car’s about to get that bit more expensive – with price hikes for driving tests, licence renewals and vehicle registration.

A 10-year driving licence will go up ?5 to ?35 and practical driving tests go up ?10 to ?55 .

Infrastructure Minister David Cretney says the increases come after a price freeze lasting a number of years.

He says the measures, approved by Tynwald earlier this year, won't be welcome but they've been kept as low as possible.
