The annual rate of inflation as measured by the Retail Prices Index (RPI) increased in March to
3.3%, up from 2.8% in February 2013.
Excluding housing costs, the annual rate of inflation shown by the RPI also increased, to 2.7% from 1.2% in February.
The annual rate of inflation shown by the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) is 1.9% for March 2013, up from 1.4% in February.
