The Isle of Man Archery Club met for the first shoot of the Outdoor Season on Sunday.

Numbers were low as several archers were competing off island. The five who braved the crisp weather, shot a Short Metric Round (50/30m) as part of the Handicap League.

Whilst the weather was cold, the breeze was light and had little influence on the arrows. Karen Lott was the only woman shooting on the day, and Colin Moore the only Compound archer present. Bod Boland and Steve Doyle were shooting outdoors for the first time.

Results

Short Metric Handicap Round:- 1. Colin Moore 1449 (72 616 19 10), 2. Karen Lott 1372 (71 396 0 0), 3. Rob Lott 1328 (60 303 0 0).

Also shooting were:-  Bod Boland 70 434 1 0 and Steve Doyle 60 327 2 1.

The Outdoor season will continue at Ronaldsway until further notice.
