On Thursday 11th April, 2013, following an Operation by the Pro Active Team, two males were arrested in Douglas for serious drug related offences. Approximately ?30,000 worth of Class A controlled drugs drugs has been seized.
Two local males were subsequently charged with serious drug related offences.
Detective Sergeant Paul Holland said “ The Pro Active Team are committed to targeting criminal networks involved in the importation and supply of Class A controlled drugs, acquisitive crime and crime that effects the quality of life of Island residents.”
