Disability Act should be implemented says MHK

Pressure to bring a long standing piece of legislation off the back-burner is being put to Tynwald today (April 16th)

Kate Beecroft wants to know why the Disability Discrimination Act, the measure designed to help disabled people in everyday life, still hasn't been implemented.

She says the UK has already found a way to bring their legislation into action.

And she believes practical answers to problems have been found in many instances.
