Two local bands have been confirmed for the Isle of Man’s official Three-Legged World Record attempt on Bank Holiday Monday, 6th May.
3 Million and Chillerz will be leading the line up for the event which promises a full day of entertainment alongside the World Record attempt.
Chris Pycroft, Assistant Chief Officer of Douglas Development Partnership commented, “The music stage will be a central part of the event’s entertainment programme and we’re really pleased to have two top local bands on the line up already.”
3 Million are a 5-piece Indie Rock band hailing from Peel that has been touring the Island since 2011. Their amazing live performances have helped establish a strong local following and the band recently released their first EP. 3 Million are Chris Honour on lead vocals, Joe Crookall on bass guitar, keyboard and background vocals, Gary Smith on lead guitar and background vocals, Alex Cowley on rhythm guitar, tambourine and background vocals and Matthew Woods on drums.
Chillerz are another 5 piece band playing an eclectic mix of covers from the 60’s right through to the present day including hits from The Killers, Beatles, Stereophonics and Kings of Leon. Chillerz are Steve Hale on lead vocals, Paul Salmon & Mark Thompson on lead guitar, Wayne Harrison on Bass Guitar and Phil Salmon on Drums.
