Onchan Library has been chosen to give away two brilliant books for World Book Night This Year - 'The Road Home' by Rose Tremain and 'Treasure Island' by Robert Louis Stevenson. The World Book Night Organisation is all about spreading a love of reading throughout communities by recruiting volunteers to give books.
Join the library in celebrating World Book Night with some swashbuckling fun from 2.30 - 7.00 pm on Tues 23rd April. There will be a Treasure Island Display & Readings, Treasure Hunt, Pirate Crafts and more. All the crew welcome to pop in for browsing and regular library business throughout the day, but shipmates will need to book places for some of the free events.
