Compromise needed on Southern site

by isleofman.com 19th April 2013

Compromise will be vital as the future of a key site in the south of the Island is determined.

The three Rushen MHKs met Heritage Homes officials this week and reiterated their desire for recreational facilities to be created at Ballakilley.

They were unhappy when, in February, Tynwald approved the Southern Area Plan and zoned Ballakilley for solely residential development.

Phil Gawne hopes talking with the developer can lead to the wishes of constituents being met.
