M&S needs your help!

by isleofman.com 21st April 2013

One of the Island's largest stores is calling on customers and staff to pull on their wellies next week and help clean-up the capital's beach.

The Douglas branch of Marks and Spencer is taking part in an M&S nationwide Big Beach Clean, a joint project with the Marine Conservation Society.

Last year's event saw hundreds of bags of rubbish collected by a small army of locals, shop staff and Island school children.

This year's clean-up starts from the war memorial at lunchtime on Wednesday (April 24).

Manager of Douglas M&S, Kenny Marshall, is hoping to build on last year's success:

You're asked to register online if you want to take part at: mcsuk.org/foreverfish
